+ why not choose me?

There are many tradesmen more gifted at specific jobs you may need doing, with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

I can advise on the trades most suited for your job and I will work along side other tradesmen to get the job completed how you want it.

+ how can we work together?

We will have a chat about what you want doing and if it's something I can help you with I'll arrange a date and time to visit you. During the visit I will take notes, measurements and photographs of the job to help me build an accurate estimate for the works.

I will send you an estimate in PDF format by email or WhatsApp and if you are happy with the estimate I will book you in at the earliest convenient date.

  1. Contact me to have a chat

  2. Site visit to see the job

  3. Estimate will be sent

  4. Book a start date

  5. Plan any material deliveries

  6. Do the job

  7. Invoice for works

  8. Receipt for payment

+ what is the best way to get in touch?

Call or message me. I'm often working up ladders and have my hands full so if I don't answer straight away leave me a message and I will call you back, or even better send me a message with your name and a brief description of what you need doing and I will reply ASAP.

+ how long will it take before starting?

I am usually booked up about two months in advance, longer during spring and summer.

Smaller jobs I may be able to do in the evenings depending on my work load.

Occasionally a job will drop out and I can move jobs forward if convenient to the customer.

Very occasionally I will have to push a job back due to weather, supply of materials, etc. but this does not happen very often.

+ are you insured?

Yes I have full public liability insurance.

+ who will supply the materials?

You can source the materials yourself or I can source them and will add a 10% mark-up.

+ what happens during the work?

I will arrive at an agreed time, usually 8 or 9 am depending on the customer. Some customers will remain home whilst I work, however most are happy to leave me to it knowing I will work hard in their absence. If so, I will require a means of securing the premises in case I need to leave.

The best customers leave tea and biscuits.

+ after completion

Site will be made tidy at the end of each day. I will always check that you are 100% happy with the finish before I consider a job to be complete.

I will send you an invoice for the work and a receipt after payment have been received.

+ what payment do I accept?

Bank transfer is my most common and preferred method of payment, but I also accept cheques and cash.

+ anything else?

Most jobs I can manage alone however if I need an extra pair of hands I'll make you aware of this and any additional cost.

I have a waste carriers license so I can dispose of commercial waste. Removal of debris, rubbish or garden waste must be agreed in advance as additional cost maybe incurred.
